Overview

KSN is looking for an individual to fill a part-time, temporary position to assist with sports coverage. Position includes coordinating schedules, feeds of games, and could include shooting video highlights of sports coverage, including high school football. Position is in-person at KSNW, Wichita, Kansas, using equipment provided by the station, under supervision of news team and management. Temporary position is for fall of 2025.

Responsibilities

Coordinate coverage of sports with news management, including sports director and news director
Arrange feeds and organize video and highlights of sporting events
Update scores for digital and broadcast
Shoot video of local sporting events, as assigned
Assist in newsroom duties during shift

Qualifications

Basic editing and videography skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Knowledge of local sports teams
