Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with acute care experience for a day shift position at a short-term acute care hospital, with Epic EMR and flexibility to float between campuses.

Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital setting

Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 5x8s with flexible start and end times

Weekend shifts required every other weekend

Float between both campuses as needed within OT scope

Epic EMR is used at the facility

Main responsibilities include providing occupational therapy services to acute care patients

Royal blue and white scrubs are required

Return staff must be gone for at least one year before returning as a traveler

Staff may only work two contracts back-to-back, after which a 6-month break is required before returning

Holiday and block scheduling requests are at manager's discretion

All time-off requests must be discussed and approved up front

Requirements Active OT license required if applicable

Acute care experience highly recommended

2 professional references from supervisors within the last 2 years required

Applicants must live more than 50 miles from both campus locations

Completion of 7-year work history with all gaps explained required

First-time travelers are accepted

Pending license not accepted
