Overview
Role Profile Overview : We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Senior Email Marketing Manager to join our team. This person will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of all email and SMS marketing efforts. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in segmentation, A / B testing, and campaign automation, and is passionate about delivering personalized customer experiences that drive engagement, conversion and retention.
Responsibilities
- Own Hari Mari’s email and SMS strategy end-to-end : planning, execution, testing, and analysis
- Build and execute lifecycle marketing campaigns across the customer journey—welcome series, post-purchase, win-back, abandoned cart, and more leveraging Klaviyo
- Partner with VP of E-commerce and Marketing to develop customer segmentation strategies to personalize messaging and increase LTV
- Create high-performing email content, including copy, design, and CTAs, that aligns with brand voice and marketing objectives
- Analyze customer data and behavior to inform email marketing campaigns and segmentation strategies
- Create and manage segments based on subscriber shopping behavior, demographics, and preferences
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date segment lists, ensuring that subscribers are correctly categorized and targeted
- Set up and manage segment rules and filters in Klaviyo
- Create campaign calendars aligned with product launches, sales, and seasonal campaigns
- Manage and optimize the performance of all flows and automations in Klaviyo
- Analyze and report on key performance metrics (open rate, CTR, CVR, AOV, unsubscribes) and provide actionable insights
- Maintain clean email and SMS lists through regular hygiene practices
- Ensure all campaigns meet CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and other compliance requirements
- Manage A / B tests to continuously improve subject lines, content, send times, and layouts
- Stay current on trends and best practices in email, SMS, and mobile marketing
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field5+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing, including deep knowledge of segmentation, automation, and deliverability best practicesProven success in driving revenue through email and SMS marketing programsHands-on experience with platforms like Klaviyo, Postscript, or similarStrong grasp of customer segmentation and behavioral triggersSolid understanding of data privacy and compliance standards (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, TCPA)Required Skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and optimize performanceStrong content creation skills, with ability to write compelling copy and design visually appealing emailsExcellent written communication and copywriting skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to think strategically and execute tacticallyComfortable managing multiple campaigns and deadlinesCollaborative mindset and a proactive problem-solverWorking knowledge of SMS marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or similarPreferred Skills
