Packaging Mechanic
Step into a key role where precision meets performance. As a Packaging Mechanic, you’ll set up, operate, and maintain advanced sterile filling and packaging equipment to keep production moving seamlessly and products meeting the highest quality standards.

Shift : Sunday - Thursday, 12am - 7am
Location : Ocean County, NJ
Rate : Up to $85,00
Key Responsibilities
- Perform line changeovers, setups, and startups, including vision system calibration and data collection.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems on packaging and production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair PLCs, VFDs, servos, sensors, motors, and temperature control loops.
- Maintain and troubleshoot automated inspection, weight checking, and control systems.
- Identify and request parts for maintenance and repairs.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Accurately document maintenance and changeover activities per GMP standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members and demonstrate flexibility with shifts and overtime.
- Follow all gowning and cleanroom procedures and comply with 21 CFR Part 11 and cGMP requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.3+ years of relevant mechanical or maintenance experience; experience in aseptic or pharmaceutical packaging preferred.Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills.This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
