Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with a KY or compact license to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures with on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting
  • Responsible for diagnostic and interventional coronary and vascular procedures as well as pacemaker and ICD implants
  • Pre and post care patient monitoring required
  • Flexible shifts available : four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days, day shift 7 : 00-17 : 00
  • On-call required 1-2 days per week and every third weekend with a 3-person call team
  • Uses Meditech and Philips Xper charting systems
  • Duties include assisting with coronary and vascular procedures, pacemaker and ICD implants, and comprehensive patient care
  • No floating within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals required
  • No specific charting system experience required prior to start
  • Local candidates are not eligible for this position

    • Requirements

  • Active KY or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum of one year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required
  • Must provide documentation of work experience within the past three years
  • Current active license with no actions pending
  • Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
  • Two professional references required
