• Common diagnoses include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and CHF

Description :

This is a 7-week contract position.

The facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center.

It includes state-of-the-art operating suites.

Various trauma level I, II, and III cases are flown to the facility.

Healthcare services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation.

Additional services provided are a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, and a day surgery center.

The facility also offers extensive imaging and lab testing services.

The hospital has received PCI, mammography, and laboratory accreditation.

It has been recognized as one of the top 20 most beautiful hospitals in the U.S.

It has also received the Reputation 800 Award in Healthcare.

The location offers a beautiful environment with three rivers, four golf courses, five lakes, and six National Parks.

There are thousands of acres available for off-roading and various attractions like hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing.

The patient ratios are typically 1 : 5 and 1 : 6.

Equipment includes VS machines, bladder scanners, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, and tube feeding pumps.

The electronic health record system used is Cerner.

The patient population is primarily adults aged 18 years and older.

Preferred skills include charge nurse experience and oncology skills, but these are not required.
