Shaw's Garage in Florham Park, NJ is preparing for a busy winter season by hiring a part-time Snow Equipment Repair Mechanic to maintain and service seasonal equipment and vehicles. If you're experienced with equipment such as snowplows and salt spreaders, we want to hear from you!
This seasonal position runs from September through March and offers a competitive wage of $20-$35 / hour , based on qualifications. Normal working hours are from Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm . Depending on workload, overtime or short Saturday shifts may be available. In this part-time role, you spend your days inspecting, troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, installing, and upfitting a wide range of snow equipment, vehicles, and accessories. Collaborating with your repair team, you work on snowplows, flatbed truck bodies, hydraulic lifts, trailer hitches, emergency lighting systems, and more. You can put your problem-solving skills to the test while performing fulfilling hands-on work!
