Post-Surgical PACU Nurse Role

This position involves providing comprehensive care to patients in the post-surgical recovery setting.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage contingencies of clinical nursing, make sound decisions, and delegate tasks effectively as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing evidence-based practices, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, monitoring for potential side effects and effectiveness.

Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and provided care meticulously.

Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred

1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; RN License in state of employment or compact; Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required; Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification required
