Obstetrics
Position Type : Seasonal Resource Team
Work Schedule : 36 / hourly weekly for 12 weeks- Nights
What We're Looking For :
- Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina
- One year of prior Women’s Surgical Services experience preferred
- Successful completion of nursing service orientation program
- Attends IV Therapy training and / or demonstrates competency in intravenous therapy within one year
- Attends Skills Fair and completes annual hospital competency requirements
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating healthcare needs for assigned patients
- Delivering care to a patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics, unless otherwise specified
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to support unit and hospital goals
- Flexibility to float to other comparable nursing units as needed
- Understands regulatory requirements and professional practice guidelines
- Collaborates professionally with other departments to ensure patient-centered care
- Exhibits strong skills in communication, conflict resolution, team building, and leadership
- Attends ongoing leadership training courses offered by the facility
- Educates team members on practice updates, regulatory changes, and organizational standards
- Assists in staff performance evaluation and competency checks
- Delegates patient care tasks appropriately based on staff experience and skills
- Capable of working irregular schedules, including weekends and holidays
