Job Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for adult rehab services, requiring an Oklahoma OT license and at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities Work in an adult rehabilitation services department

Full-time, day shift position with 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

Patient population consists of adults requiring rehabilitation therapy

Position is for a 13-week contract

Responsibilities include planning, evaluating, and implementing individual and group occupational therapy treatment

Interpret physician referrals, select standardized evaluations, and develop treatment plans with short and long-term goals

Assist patients with activities through adaptive equipment and orthotic devices

Provide patient and family education regarding treatment goals and progress

Assist with discharge planning, home therapy instructions, and order necessary equipment

May supervise students

No local candidates considered due to a 50-mile radius rule

Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required

Current Oklahoma Occupational Therapist license required if applicable

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire

Minimum one year of occupational therapy experience required

Good interpersonal and communication skills needed

Some computer skills required
