Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Maximo Tester (Quality Engineer / Functional) opening for our client in Dallas, TX.

Location : Dallas, TX

Duration : 6 months

Duties :

Perform functional and quality assurance testing for Maximo Application 7.6.

Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure application meets requirements.

Track defects and issues using Jira and follow through resolution.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Support SDLC processes and ensure compliance with testing standards.

Skills :

Functional knowledge of Maximo Application 7.6

Manual testing and test case execution

SDLC understanding and implementation

Jira for defect tracking and reporting

Agile methodologies

Maximo Automation Testing framework experience (plus)

Industry knowledge in Energy and Utility sectors (plus)

Experience :

Proven experience testing Maximo Applications, preferably version 7.6

Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing techniques

Experience working in Agile development environments

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
