job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and granting entry as appropriate. Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations, medical emergencies, or other urgent situations. Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures. Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel to provide information and assistance as needed. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Professional Unarmed Healthcare Patrol
As a Security Professional Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in Laguna Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
