Job Summary and Responsibilities The Interventional Cardiologist will contribute to the continued growth and development of our expanding Cardiology program. The time split will be - 75% for Clinical activities; 25% will be dedicated to teaching and clinical research. Key Responsibilities : Perform Cath Lab procedures and contribute to interventional cardiology services with a focus on complex and high-risk cases. Actively participate in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows as part of our Creighton University-affiliated training programs. Engage in clinical research and trials, fostering an environment of innovation and evidence-based medicine. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop an academically focused, high-performing cardiovascular service line. Play a key role in building an academic cardiology team, contributing to curriculum development and faculty recruitment. This position offers a unique blend of clinical practice and teaching providing an opportunity to contribute to the development of an academic cardiovascular team at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC) in partnership with Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance. The Interventional Cardiologist will contribute to the continued growth and development of our expanding Cardiology program.
