About The Position

Job Title : Physical Therapist

Hours per Shift : 4-10 hour days or 5-8 hour days

Experience : Minimum experience preferred in acute care; entry-level is acceptable

License : State of Vermont license required (temporary license acceptable on entry)

Certifications : CPR certification required

Must-Have : At least 2 recent supervisory references required

Description :

This position is for a Physical Therapist responsible for the evaluation of patients' physical conditions and needs.

The role includes the design and implementation of a corrective treatment plan according to the principles and practice of physical therapy.

Continuous assessment of patient progress and modification of the plan and goals as necessary is essential.

Collaborative consultation with other healthcare professionals is required.

The Physical Therapist must maintain accurate and timely medical and business records.

There are supervisory responsibilities over the clinical activities of Physical Therapy assistants and at least one affiliating student per year.

Participation in departmental quality improvement activities, community outreach, and program development is expected.

On-call duties include one Saturday about every 7-8 weeks.
