About The Position

Job Title : Diagnostic Imaging - Sonographer

Profession : Sonographer

Specialty : Ultrasound

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Variable, including days and evenings until midnight

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 4 years

License : BLS, ARDMS ABD, OB / GYN required

Certifications : Vascular certification preferred

Must-Have : Vascular experience, Client, ABD, and Pediatric experience

Description : ASAP start needed.

Manager interviews required.

This position will involve variable day and evening shifts, including rotating call.

Experience in vascular ultrasound is necessary.

The facility has 70 licensed beds and will occasionally have MD / RN students on-site.

The average number of scans per day is 8-12.

The traveler will float / work between multiple care areas, including inpatient and outpatient settings.

Evening shifts may be required.

The traveler will receive approximately 2 weeks of orientation.

The schedule will include 4 to 5 shifts per week.

Weekend rotation includes a 24-hour call shift per month, with opportunities to pick up additional weekends if desired.

Weekday call from midnight to 6 AM is required, with a commitment of 3-4 shifts each month.

Weekend call requires the traveler to work one 24-hour shift per month.

Holiday coverage will be required as needed, in a rotating schedule.

Scrub color must be professional.

Average patient types per day will be monitored.

Prior experience in a critical care setting is preferred.

Lead technician and physician support will be available.

EMR experience is necessary.
