Job Overview :

• Consolidates orders from the Storage & Retrieval area
• Uses Oracle Telnet to confirm and pack orders
• Compares packing list with product label (as opposed to pick ticket itself)
• Counts items to ensure correct amount is shipped
• Packs boxes correctly to ensure product is not damaged in transit
• Assists with loading trucks or trailers using forklift or pallet jack.
• Visually checks product for defects
• Notifies manager of discrepancies
• Visually checks packing list for special customer requirements (packing, labeling, etc.)
• Operates forklift to move merchandise to be shipped
• Weighs merchandise and completes bill of lading and packing list
• Stocks work station periodically to ensure correct boxes and packing materials are available
• Assists Shipping Manager to ensure timely and accurate processing of all orders
• Keeps work area cleaned and well organize.
