$68,000.00 / yr - $85,000.00 / yr

Position

People & Communication Specialist

Job Description

Position Summary :

  • Create engaging content for internal communications, including training videos, marketing content, newsletters, social media posts, and website content as well as distribution of the content
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels
  • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvements
  • Provide guidance and support to different areas of the company for communication best practices and industry trends
  • Assist with departmental data analytics and reporting
  • Act as an additional Talent and Development specialist as needed
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Perform other position related duties as assigned

Location

Requirements

Basic :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Human Resources, or another related field
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and / or international)
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
  • Experience with media relations, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for different audiences
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement

    • Preferred :

  • Experience with software editing
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management tools, content management systems, and analytics tools
  • Portfolio of previously produced content

    • Working Conditions

  • Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment
  • Ability to lift to 20 pounds

    • Compensation

    Salary within the posted range is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
