Position : Senior Clinical Operations Analyst – Future Cancer Hospital

Location : Hybrid, Boston, MA (1–2 days onsite per week)

Start Date : ASAP

Duration : 12-month contract with potential for conversion to FTE

Overview :

Medasource is seeking two Senior Clinical Operations Analysts to support data and analytics efforts for a major hospital build as our northeast healthcare client looks to expand inpatient capacity and enhance patient-centered care. This role will focus on leveraging data to inform strategic decisions, optimize clinical operations, and improve patient experience during the planning and transition phases of the new hospital. This role will directly impact the 5 year and long term plans for the new hospital!

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics
  • Experience supporting inpatient operations, capacity planning, or clinical workflows strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL and Tableau required
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities :

  • Lead analytics projects from inception to delivery using departmental operating models
  • Develop interactive dashboards and tools to support clinical and operational decision-making
  • Pull, clean, and validate inpatient and ambulatory data (e.g., consults, exams, procedures, length of stay, daily census)
  • Translate stakeholder needs into data requirements and actionable insights
  • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards to support clinical operations, staffing, and space planning
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data from multiple systems
  • Present findings to executive leadership and operational teams
  • Provide training and support to end users across the Institute
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and usability across all deliverables
