Security Professional - Unarmed Distribution Patrol Driver

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Distribution Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Pay Rate : $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeWed10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Thur10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Fri10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or access.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel and / or authorities as required.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, following established protocols and instructions.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
