Facility in Peoria, IL seeking Inpatient Oncology locums coverage Rates : $560 / hr Position : Locum Tenens Medical Oncologist

Start Date : July 1, 2025

Schedule : Monday Friday, 12-hour shifts starting at 7 : 30 AM

Shifts per Month : Approximately 15

Setting : Hospital-based

Support : APP on-site; PRN Medical Oncologist available one week per month

EMR : EPIC

Privileges : Full or Temporary available

Estimated Credentialing Time : 60 days Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive patient care including consultations, admissions, and follow-up management
  • Conduct hospital rounds as needed
  • Collaborate with in-practice APP for consults, orders, and patient care planning

Coordinate with the broader cancer care team for continuity of treatment

  • Cover when the PRN Medical Oncologist is off-site

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
  • Active Illinois medical license OR IMLC
  • DEA with Schedule II authority
  • ACLS certified
  • Minimum 1 year of experience

    • Additional Notes :

  • No weekend shifts
  • No on-call requirements
  • No solo coverage
