Responsibilities

As the Medical Pod Leader , you will be the clinical leader responsible for the performance of your clinical pod team. Your role will encompass :

  • Supervising APPs and Physicians within the pod, ensuring compliance with collaborative practice agreements.
  • Building strong relationships with all clinical team members, including Community Health Workers, Medical Social Workers, and Care Managers.
  • Leading high-risk huddles and ensuring comprehensive care plans are documented.
  • Conducting chart audits and reviewing quality metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participating in patient care for high-risk or complex patients as needed.
  • Providing clinical education on chronic condition management.
  • Assisting with compliance and HR resolutions.
  • Conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions for direct reports.

  • QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Active CPR Certification
  • Active Medical License
  • Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 1 year of experience at HarmonyCares Medical Group
  • Board Certification
  • Pay Transparency
