Security Officer

Job Skills / Requirements

We are seeking experienced, responsible, and professional Security Officers to join our team in a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in handling sensitive environments where patient care, confidentiality, and emergency response are critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor premises via patrols and surveillance systems.
  • Control access to restricted areas and enforce visitor policies.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
  • De-escalate disturbances and assist with patient or visitor issues when necessary.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain security logs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.

Schedule :

Saturday& Sunday : 7am-3pm

Saturday $ Sunday : 3pm-11pm

Saturday & Sunda : 11pm-7am

PAY RATE : $18.00

  • MUST HAVE SECURITY EXPERIENCED IN MEDICAL FIELD

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old or older
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior security experience in a healthcare environment is required.
  • Valid government-issued photo ID.
  • Connecticut Valid state-issued Security Guard License
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and observation skills.
  • Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods and respond quickly to emergencies.

    • Knowledge Skills and Abilities :

  • Good working knowledge of Security Operations.
  • Understanding of Safety Practices in a Business environment.
  • Ability to provide high level of Customer Service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be computer proficient
  • Read, understand and clearly speak English; constantly use speech and hearing in communicating with the public and co-workers, giving and receiving instructions
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work in various environments including but not limited to adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain, heat.
