Pay Information

$2,400 to $2,500 per day

About The Position

Open Dates : November 6 – 10

November 24 – December 1

December 8 – 15

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB / GYN physician to provide locum tenens coverage for several upcoming dates in November and December. This opportunity involves both hospital and call coverage, with a manageable patient load and supportive midwives who deliver their own patients.

Key Details :

Setting : Hospital / Call

Beds : 17 total (12 postpartum, 5 birthing suites)

Delivery Volume : ~750 deliveries annually

Nursery Level : II

Onsite labs & ultrasound available

Midwives take call and deliver their own patients

EMR : Epic

Average nursery admissions : Usually fewer than 10 per day

Procedures / Responsibilities :

Routine vaginal deliveries, including low forceps

Decision-making for and performing C-sections

Complicated deliveries : breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc.

VBACs

Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Credentialing :

Estimated timeframe : ~30 days

Requirements :

Board Certified OB / GYN – Required

Active Kentucky license OR IMLC – Required

BLS certification – Required

Active DEA – Required

COVID vaccination – Preferred

Must be available for one or more of the listed dates – Required
