The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $75,600 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. POSITION SUMMARY
The Coordinator, Product Development is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of the Product Development team. This person will be responsible for providing key administrative support to the Product Development Manager in San Francisco and other team members based in multiple locations.
Core responsibilities include tracking, organizing, and managing product samples, maintaining clear communication across internal teams and cross-functional partners, and ensuring the smooth execution of development timelines and deliverables.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ORGANIZATION + ADMIN
Maintaining and organizing all files and tracking documents for all development-related items, including both electronic files and physical submissions within the office.Cataloging and maintaining inventory for product samples, including competitive benchmarks, innovation presentations, and project submissions.Labeling, tracking + organizing standards for project ownersSupport manager on a day to day with projects and formula development including sending shipments, distributing samples, maintain trackers + files up to date.Distribute samples as requested and ensure feedback is collected + trackedAdditional tasks + projects as assignedCOMPS
Collaborating & communicating with cross-functional departments on pre-launch comps sample requests for proactive planning. Managing, requesting, tracking, and distributing all associated internal samples.Partner with vendors on deadlines / expectations for comps and follow ups as neededPRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Test submissions and give feedback on performance, texture and shadeManage clinical testing samples and work closely with Regulatory & Vendors (i.e start / completion dates, competitive claims research, final reports).Assist in conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities for new product developmentREQUIREMENTS
BA degree or equivalent experience with 1-2 years of product development work experience preferredThis role requires in-person collaboration and hands on product experience which can only take place in the office. It is critical that person be available to work in office 3-4 days a week, as directed by manager.
