Under general direction of the Team Leader(s) the Electronic Technician is responsible for repairing electronic product for manufacturing and field returns.
Essential Role Responsibilities :
- Performs timely and efficient repairs of manufacturing product.
- Tests control board assemblies utilizing a PC to retrieve various engineering documents including but not limited to : schematics, assembly layouts, test procedures, and work instructions.
- Completes required supporting documentation for all returns.
- Sets-up and operates various electronic test equipment using multi-meters, oscilloscope, counters, thermo-couple simulator, etc.
- Ensures quality control on product line and the adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Maintains clean and functional work stations, troubleshoot equipment as necessary, and adheres to safety policies and procedures.
- Promptly notify Team Leader regarding quality trends and issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Team Leader(s).

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsMust be self-motivated, a team player with the ability to work in multi-task environmentKnowledge of production / quality standards, and assembly procedures / processesWork well independently, have electro-mechanical ability / aptitude, excellent hand and eye coordinationMust be able to troubleshoot, interpret electronic schematics, read bill of materials, use test equipment, and in-circuit testersKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MRP Systems, and QAD (Preferred)Essential Education & Experience :
High School Diploma and / or G.E.DAssociates Degree in Electronics or Military Electronics Training1-2 years assembly experience of electro-mechanical products2-3 years electronic control repairFood service manufacturing industry (Preferred)Work Conditions & Safety
