The Block and Band Operator is responsible for securing, banding, and preparing finished products or raw materials for storage and shipment. This role ensures products are stacked, blocked, and banded according to company standards, maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency in the production or warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate banding and blocking equipment to secure products for transport.

Inspect materials to ensure proper stacking, alignment, and stability.

Apply bands, straps, or blocking materials to secure loads.

Verify product counts, labels, and specifications match work orders.

Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.

Maintain accurate records of packaged and secured loads.

Follow all company safety guidelines for material handling.

Keep work area clean, organized, and hazard-free.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling preferred.

Ability to operate banding and blocking equipment safely.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.

Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Team-oriented with good communication skills.
