As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Rensselaer, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, staying visible to provide reassurance, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and / or vehicles at the location.Verify identification and credentials of individuals seeking access to restricted areas within the healthcare facility.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity.Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and / or concerns according to site procedures.Collaborate with staff and visitors to address questions regarding access control and security-related protocols at the location.What We're Looking For :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
