A leading healthcare facility in Duluth, MN, is seeking a skilled Radiation Oncologist for locum tenens coverage. The assignment offers flexible scheduling with a minimum requirement of 15 clinic days per month. Key Details Assignment Type : Locum Tenens Setting : Outpatient Clinic / Hospital Start Date : ASAP Schedule : Flexible, with coverage required on key dates including Aug 4-5, Nov 24-26, and Dec 25 to Jan 2 Patient Population : Adult Location : Duluth, MN Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Conduct chart rounds with the Radiation Oncology team weekly Manage an average of 10-15 clinic visits per day, with around 25 patients receiving treatment on the TrueBeam daily Utilize EPIC as the EHR, and ARIA / Eclipse for radiation treatment planning Collaborate with a skilled team of Radiation Therapists, RNs, and on-site dosimetry Qualifications Board Certified in Radiation Oncology Experience with External Beam Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT Proficient in treatment planning techniques such as 3D CRT and PET CT or MRI Image Fusion Participation in clinical trials required Fellowship completion preferred Working Hours Flexibility in scheduling a minimum of 15 days per month Key dates coverage required in August, September, October, November, December, and January Skills Expertise in Conventional / Conformal Therapy Capable of operating a Linear Accelerator and performing Rapid Arc / VMAT, Electrons, and Superficial / Orthovoltage treatments Proficient in hyper altered fractionation and beam shaping techniques Join a collaborative environment where your contributions to cancer care are widely valued.
