The Advanced AVL Technician works on-site at Summit Integrated project sites, following industry standards and project plans. The technician takes direction from the Project Foreman and Lead Technicians to execute installation tasks across AVL system projects. The Advanced AVL Technician has proficiency in advanced installation areas such as wire pulling, terminations, rigging, and field installation, and works with minimal supervision. All members of the Summit Install Team are focused on delivering project outcomes efficiently, adhering to Summit's values and meeting customer requirements. All essential functions must be performed without endangering the health and or safety of the individual or others.

Responsibilities

• Focus on delivering top-quality results in every task. Pay attention to details and follow the best practices to make sure everything is done correctly according to Summit Standards and Industry Best Practice. Regularly review your work and seek feedback from your team to keep improving your skills and the quality of your results.
• Look for ways to make your tasks easier, faster, and more effective while still doing a great job. Use tools and materials that help speed things up, and work with your team to find the best methods on site. Regularly check in with leads & foreman on how well you are doing to make sure you are working efficiently, and completing the required amount of work.
• Builds & Maintains Fundamental, Intermediate & Advanced skillsets as outlined in the Technician Matrix - At an Advanced level.
• Participates in the Summit CERTIFIED program, actively pursues higher levels of craftsmanship & technical ability. Must meet all core competency requirements of this position.
• Assist in the training & development of New Recruits & Junior technicians in the field. Shares knowledge and provides first level QC assessments of their work. At times, they may be asked to assist with Summit Basic training of new hires at Summit HQ.
• Actively participate in project preparation efforts, alongside the crew & foreman. Attend & engage in all project meetings, 1-1s, town halls, company wide events & other meetings as designated by leadership. Maintain active login credentials for company tools, stay updated on schedules, and submit expense reports, hours, & PTO / RTO requests in a timely manner. Assist with events, shop assembly, and custom fabrication as needed.

Work Location : In person. Our headquarters is located in Colorado, but we are looking for technicians in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas area.

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience
