Overview

Join to apply for the General Manager role at Victra - Verizon Authorized Retailer. Victra is the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States. As a General Manager, you shape our guest experience by coaching your team to deliver Every Guest Every Time. Our General Managers exceed sales targets while maintaining operational excellence. With paid training, you will develop your Assistant General Manager and lead store operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own store success and supervise day-to-day activities of the store staff.
  • Drive high-performance results in a fast-paced environment, focusing on customer and employee experience.
  • Mentor the Assistant General Manager; complete trainings and attend weekly sales leadership calls.
  • Build, develop, and mentor your sales team; teach and coach using the sales process.
  • Attract and retain top talent; brand advocate for Victra.
  • Provide ongoing sales training to exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives.
  • Develop sales tools and initiatives; manage inventory compliance; budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting.
  • Own guest escalations and ensure timely resolutions; communicate objectives and priorities; stay up to date with promotions.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years retail sales experience; 2 years in a leadership / supervisory role.
  • Management experience in a commissions-based environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving team and individual sales goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities; set goals and develop high-performing teams.
  • High school diploma or GED; one year or more of customer service experience in retail or sales.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods; 18 years of age; legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds; stand for long periods.

    • Training

    All General Managers must complete a 4-day New Hire University (NHU) within 2 weeks of start date, and a 3-day General Manager University (SMU) within 30 days. Additional online training will be required.

    Compensation

    Pay will include a base rate of $22.50 / hour with potential for commission-based earnings.
