Demonstrated proficiency in cell culture techniques. Computer literacy, including experience with data entry, spreadsheets, or analysis software (e.g. GraphPad). Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Description
We are seeking an experienced Research Assistant 2 to support biochemical and molecular biology studies. In this role, you will perform a variety of laboratory techniques and assist with maintaining efficient daily operations. Primary duties include :
- Perform molecular biology and protein biochemistry protocols, such as cloning and plasmid preparation, PCR, genomic DNA isolation, protein extraction, immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation.
- Perform in vitro cell culture and cell biology experiments.
- Maintain lab inventories and stock solutions; order supplies.
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe lab environment.
- Assist with data organization and analysis.
Salary Range : $28.88 / hour - $46.46 / hour
