Description :

We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Tualatin, Oregon. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the time and attendance system and will work as a team preparing and processing a multi-state biweekly payroll in conformance with company policies and Federal and State regulations.

This position is on-site (not remote / not hybrid) and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.

Requirements :

  • Process data entry for multi-state payroll for approximately 400 employees under strict deadlines while ensuring all entries and system outputs are in compliance with all state and federal laws
  • Process state and local agency registrations
  • Coordinate with Paylocity on state filings
  • Review payroll and timesheet inputs from various internal sources, to ensure accurate payroll processing for multiple payrolls
  • Work with HR team to aggregate employee data relating to new hires, terminations & bonus payments during each pay period in order to accurately process payroll for that period
  • Assist employees with online changes to taxes and direct deposit in Paylocity
  • Reconcile 401(k) contributions and funds to employee’s accounts
  • Audit current processes to reduce the number of payroll related errors
  • Provide Semi-Monthly reporting to management teams ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Audit employee time records companywide, working with remote locations to resolve issues
  • Reconcile benefit invoices to benefit deductions to ensure accuracy

Education / Experience :

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business or related field a plus
  • 3+ years of multistate payroll processing and time keeping systems
  • Payroll processing using Paylocity
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak to individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be able to communicate with employees regarding multiple payroll issues
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to use Excel to create v / x lookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas and functions
  • Compensation / Benefits :

  • $28 to $33 per hour DOE
