Construction Estimator
Construction Estimator responsible for analyzing and estimating the costs involved in commercial construction projects. Day-to-day tasks typically include :
Reviewing project plans and specifications : Construction estimators carefully examine project blueprints and specifications to understand the scope of work, materials required, and labor needs.
Site visits : They conduct site visits to gather information about the project site, existing conditions, and any potential challenges.
Collaborating with stakeholders : Estimators work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. They communicate with these stakeholders to obtain accurate pricing information and ensure comprehensive estimates.
Cost analysis : Estimators calculate direct costs (such as materials) and indirect costs (like overhead) to create accurate project budgets.
Sourcing estimates : They source cost estimates from suppliers and contractors, considering market prices and availability.
Creating budget proposals : Based on their analysis, estimators compile detailed budget proposals for clients, helping them plan and allocate resources effectively.

Education and Experience Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in estimator field of interest
5+ years' experience as an estimator
Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00 / yr.
