We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a locum position in a community hospital. If you are passionate about providing high-quality anesthesia care and enjoy working within a supportive team environment, this opportunity is for you!
- Practice Setting : Operating Room / Surgery Department at a Community Hospital.
- Dates / Coverage Needed : 10 / 20-10 / 24 and 12 / 8-12 / 12. Non-call provider works Monday-Friday, 7 am - 3 pm. Call providers complete their shifts by 7 pm and take a 12-hour overnight call, followed by post-day off.
- Support Staff / Supervision : You will direct and supervise CRNAs and are expected to perform all anesthesia cases.
- Case Mix : You will encounter a diverse range of cases including General, Orthopedic, Gastroenterology, Electrophysiology, ENT, and Cardiac, with cardiac cases making up 14% of your workload.
- Credentialing Time-Frame : 8-12 weeks. An active Kansas medical license is preferred upfront.
- Certifications Required : ACLS, BLS, PALS.
