Pay Information

$375 per hour

About The Position

Hematology and Oncology Locums - Kentucky, Weekend Call Only

Weekend-only hem / onc call in Owensboro, Kentucky with very low volume and full support staff.

Highlights :

  • Just one weekend per month
  • Pager call only; respond from hotel
  • Extremely light workload, only a handful of call-ins all year
  • Easy credentialing in 30-45 days

Practice Setting :

  • Inpatient hospital coverage
  • Epic EMR
  • Full hospital support staff
  • Great option for regional physicians within driving distance

    • Schedule :

  • Friday 5p to Monday 7a
  • Pager call only; no rounding unless a new admission occurs
  • Flexible monthly scheduling

    • Cases and Procedures :

  • Rare emergent hem / onc consults through ED
  • Average call volume is minimal
  • Most weekends involve few or no patient interactions

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
  • Active Kentucky license (or IMLC eligible)
  • BLS and DEA required

    • Travel Accommodations :

  • Lodging and mileage reimbursed
  • Ideal for physicians within driving distance (e.g., Nashville or Evansville)

    • Let us know if you'd like to pick up an easy weekend each month; this is one of the lowest-volume call setups available.
