Staff Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee data engineering projects, bridging technical gaps and ensuring effective decision-making

Facilitate cross-team collaboration by translating technical concepts for less technical colleagues

Ensure complex engineering projects align with business outcomes and mentor team members

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or related role, focusing on data pipeline design and development

Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; familiarity with Scala and Rust is a plus

Deep knowledge of data warehousing and ETL / ELT processes

Intermediate / expert proficiency with data integration / orchestration platforms (e.g., Fivetran, Apache Airflow)

Experience with at least one cloud data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
