The PCB Test Engineer develops and executes tests for printed circuit boards (PCBs) to ensure quality and functionality, troubleshooting faults using specialized equipment and collaborating with design teams to resolve issues.Their responsibilities include creating test plans, analyzing results, documenting findings, and ensuring final products meet design specifications and quality standards.A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is often a prerequisite for these roles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans : Create and implement test procedures to validate PCB functionality and adherence to specifications.
• Test PCBs : Conduct electrical, functional, and performance tests using specialized equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Troubleshoot faults : Identify, analyze, and resolve defects and issues found during testing.
• Collaborate with teams : Work with design and production teams to address problems and implement corrective actions.
• Document findings : Keep detailed records of test results and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure quality standards : Verify that PCBs meet all quality, functionality, and safety standards before they are released.
