Introduction Our client is a hospital currently hiring for a Clinical Medical Director to lead its veterinary team in Chicago, Illinois. Role Description and Responsibilities The Clinical Medical Director will serve as the lead veterinarian on the clinic floor, overseeing all aspects of patient care, clinical quality, and team development. Responsibilities include implementing protocols, driving clinical standards, mentoring veterinarians and nurses, and contributing to operational strategy and clinic growth. The role requires a DVM / VMD with a minimum of five years of clinical experience and a strong background in leadership or mentorship. Experience in urgent care, dentistry, or surgery, as well as launching or scaling veterinary clinics, is a plus. Practice Details The practice combines urgent and primary care in a modern veterinary model, operating in locations across Logan Square, Roscoe Village, Clybourn (Lincoln Park), and a forthcoming site in Forest Park.
