Job Title : Visiting Fellow

Department : FAES | Plant Pathology-JM

The Visiting Fellow will conduct experiments aimed at enhancing the nutritional value of crops through the use of novel cell-penetrating proteins. Primary responsibilities include designing and constructing MTD4 fusion proteins, expressing and purifying these proteins in E. coli, and evaluating their effectiveness in tomato and other crop species. The candidate will also measure the nutritional profiles of treated plants and analyze the resulting data. Additionally, they are expected to summarize experimental findings, present results during lab meetings, and contribute to manuscript preparation for publication.
