Responsibilities Work in the Emergency Department across various acute care satellite locations in the West Valley Patient population consists of emergency care cases with assigned nurse-to-patient ratios of 1 : 4 Will float among different West Valley ER locations, with advanced schedules provided Evening 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required Ventilator care and lab draws are performed by ER staff Cerner is used for electronic charting Will be one of two RNs on staff at satellite ER locations Holiday coverage as needed Scrub color requirement is galaxy blue Orientation includes 12 hours and additional role-specific instruction COVID vaccine declinations are accepted for medical or religious reasons Returning candidates must not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity in the past year Candidates who fail required clinical skills assessments twice are not eligible for 6 months Requirements Active AZ or compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum of 2 years recent ER RN experience Certifications required : BLS and ACLS; TNCC preferred Must pass a dysrhythmia exam and SIM lab skills assessment upon or prior to start Ability to maintain sterile technique for Foley catheter and port-a-cath insertion Two professional references : one supervisor reference from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference from the past 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627183.
