Associate Buyer

This position will be in our CACI Enterprise Services, where the individual will work under close supervision to prepare and administer purchase orders for materials in accordance with client requirements, government regulations and procurement policies / procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Review requisition, solicit / evaluate bid, recommend and select supplier for award of purchase orders.
• Negotiate price, quality, delivery and other terms and conditions.
• Perform oversight on all awarded purchase orders until delivery / completion of goods / services.
• Coordinate and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Recruit and maintain responsive suppliers providing high quality products and services at fair and reasonable prices.
• Negotiate with suppliers and settles damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering change orders.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is : $39,400 - $78,200
