Our expertise spans the agricultural industry with a focus on wet and dry milling processing where we develop advanced technologies that solve our clients' most challenging operational needs. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Production Manager to our team while also actively participating in hands-on work. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership position and contribute directly to the shop's operations. You will oversee daily workflow, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate shop personnel, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met
Perform repairs, fabrication, assembly, or other technical tasks as needed
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and work with the Director of Operations to schedule overtime and general work schedules
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure parts and assemblies meet company and industry standards
Work with cross functional teams to ensure materials are prepared and tools / machinery are in good working condition
Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track
Enforce safety regulations and ensure proper use of tools and equipment
Provide guidance and mentorship to shop employees, assisting with skill development

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Production Manager, Lead Technician, or similar hands-on leadership role

Strong technical skills in machinery assembly and fabrication

Experience working with high-speed rotating equipment a plus

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without assistance and work in a physically demanding environment

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and OSHA regulations

Proficiency in using shop tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment

Ability to utilize various computer software systems, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems such as Microsoft D365
