Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Dallas, TX

36-Week Contract | Up to $58 / hr | Educational Setting

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a local opportunity near Dallas, TX . Position Highlights :

  • Contract Length : 36 weeks
  • Weekly Compensation : Up to $58 / hr , based on experience
  • Schedule : Full-time, school calendar
  • Location : Dallas, TX and surrounding area
  • Setting : Educational / School-based

Job Responsibilities :

  • Support Speech Language Pathologists in the assessment and treatment of communication disorders
  • Assist in implementing speech therapy plans and documenting student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals
  • Provide direct therapy services under SLP supervision
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student performance
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions when required
  • Uphold professional ethics and standards of practice in an educational setting
  • Education and Certification Requirements :

  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Texas licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
  • Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
