Job Details :
- Provide neurosurgery trauma call coverage with 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a)
- Perform various neurosurgical procedures including Laminectomy, Anterior Cervical Discectomy, Spinal Fusion, Brain Tumors, and ACDF
- Handle general neurosurgery cases for adult, pediatric, and neonate patients
- Manage cerebrovascular procedures including open and endovascular techniques
- Perform carotid or vertebral artery surgery and aneurysm clipping
- Address various tumor cases including neuroendocrine surgery
- Conduct stereotactic radiosurgery, functional procedures, and seizure management
- Perform VP shunt procedures and skull base surgery
- Provide spinal surgery with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
- Handle peripheral nerve surgery and pain procedures
- Perform endovascular procedures and placement of ICP monitors
- Apply external traction when needed
- Manage ventilation and central line placement
- Must have a valid California Medical License with DEA address in California
- Require 10 years of clean malpractice history (no open or paid claims)
- COVID vaccination and booster required
- BLS certification required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-60 days
