Position Summary : We are seeking a reliable and experienced delivery driver to operate a 28-foot flatbed gooseneck truck / trailer for local and regional deliveries. The driver will be responsible for the safe loading, securing, transport, and unloading of materials, typically including granite, stone slabs, construction materials, or equipment. This role requires a strong focus on safety, time management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate a 28' flatbed gooseneck truck / trailer to deliver materials to our other facilities.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records.
Secure loads using straps, chains, tarps, or other equipment in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
Navigate to delivery locations using GPS or routing software while adhering to all traffic laws.
Maintain communication with dispatch and customers for updates or issues.
Assist with loading and unloading materials, including operating forklifts, cranes, or using dolly carts when needed.
Maintain delivery documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logs.
Ensure vehicle cleanliness and schedule routine maintenance checks.
Provide courteous and professional service to clients and customers on-site.
During down times will be required to help out in the office / shop.

Requirements :

Valid driver's license with clean driving record (CDL may or may not be required depending on load weight).

Proven experience driving a gooseneck or flatbed truck, preferably 28' or similar.

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor as needed.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe load securement practices.

Excellent time management and communication skills.

Forklift certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain.

Experience transporting heavy or oversized loads (e.g., granite, construction materials) is a plus.

Work Environment :

Outdoor work in various weather conditions.

May involve long hours or occasional overtime.

Frequent interaction with clients, warehouse staff, and field crews.
