RN – Trauma ICU (Critical Care)

Location : 1924 Alcoa Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920

Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)

Start Date : ASAP

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced ICU RN for the Trauma / Surgical Critical Care Unit in Knoxville, TN. This role involves managing critically ill trauma and surgical patients in a fast-paced, Level I trauma center environment.

Key Details

  • Ratios : 1 : 2 (may flex based on acuity / need).
  • Schedule : Nights, 3x12s (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM).
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend.
  • Holiday Requirement : Must expect to work a share of holidays.
  • Block Scheduling : Considered, based on unit needs.
  • Floating : As needed, within scope.

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Trauma / Surgical ICU experience .
  • Active Tennessee RN license (or Compact).
  • Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications .
  • First-time travelers may be considered.
  • Local radius rule : 25 miles
  • Pending license not accepted.
