Senior Director, Tax

Overview

Legend Biotech is seeking Senior Director, Tax as part of the Finance team based in Somerset, NJ .

Role Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Director of Tax to join our growing finance team. The role will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's tax function including ensuring compliance with tax regulations and maintaining the appropriate analysis and documentation to support corporate's transfer pricing, tax credits and tax positions. This position will support the US and EU regions and be responsible for interacting with Accounting, External Reporting, External Tax Advisors, FP&A and Treasury. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, particularly within the biotech industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance and Reporting

Responsible for preparing the quarterly tax provisions for US and EU (VAT for Belgium) and then working with the Corporate Controller, External Reporting Group, third party tax advisors, and our external auditors to ensure compliance, address technical questions and assist with financial statement footnote disclosures.

Assist with transfer pricing analysis and documentation to ensure compliance and minimize risk on a global basis.

Identify and mitigate tax risks through effective internal controls and procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to provide tax expertise and support.

Responsible for overseeing and managing restructuring global tax / IP to optimize Legend structure
