Steel Erection Estimator (Remote)

Job Title : Remote Steel Erection Estimator

Location : Remote | Type : Full-Time

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Steel Erection Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive bids for structural steel and pre-engineered metal building projects. This role is fully remote and requires strong knowledge of steel erection means, methods, and costs.

Responsibilities :

Review drawings and specifications to determine project scope.

Perform take-offs for steel, labor, equipment, and crane usage.

Develop detailed cost estimates and proposals.

Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators, and project managers.

Track market pricing and adjust estimates accordingly.

Project Types :

Warehouses, commercial buildings, aviation, hospitality, retail centers, PEMBs, and custom structural steel projects.

Qualifications :

3–5+ years estimating steel erection projects.

Proficient with estimating / take-off software and blueprint reading.

• Tekla Experience is highly preferred

Strong communication, accuracy, and ability to work independently.
