Travel OR Nurse (RN) | Billings, Montana

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.\n\nA registered nurse with specialized experience in the operating room is needed for a contract assignment in Billings, MT. This role offers a unique opportunity to work night shifts with a focus on neurological and robotic surgical procedures at a Level I trauma center.\n\nSchedule & Hours : \n

• 3x12 hour night shifts (18 : 30 07 : 00)\n
• Rotating days off to align with unit needs\n
• Weekend shifts as scheduled\n
• On-call approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend shift per month\n
• Flexibility on return-to-office requests, with the requirement to make up missed time\n\nResponsibilities : \n
• Provide expert perioperative nursing care primarily in neuro surgical cases, including ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, kyphoplasty, laminectomy / discectomy, lumbar fusion, and XLIF\n
• Utilize the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System to assist with robotic surgeries\n
• Respond to trauma cases with precision and efficiency, consistent with Level I trauma center protocols\n
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and successful operative outcomes\n
• Maintain certification standards such as BLS and adhere to facility policies and procedures\n\nQualifications : \n
• Valid RN licensure with at least 3 years of OR nursing experience\n
• Experience in Level I trauma center environments\n
• Demonstrated neuro surgical skills and familiarity with listed procedures\n
• Proficiency with the Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system\n
• BLS certification required\n
• Willingness to work night shifts and handle on-call responsibilities\n
