Physical Therapy Assistant

Schedule : Full time 40hrs / week - Days. Four 10 hour shifts / week. Either Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday. This position includes premium compensation for required weekend shifts.

About Us Physical Therapy

• Physical therapists help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disability for any patient suffering from injury or disease.
• Therapy focuses on improving function, strength, balance and coordination with a goal of improving, restoring or maintaining how an individual functions at work and at home.
• Freeman therapists also teach patients to use assistive and adaptive devices, such as crutches, prostheses and wheelchairs.

What You'll Do

Independently follows a treatment plan based on therapist / goal directed objective, delivers / documents care, and provides d / c planning on all physician referred patients. Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff. Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state / national regulations, hospital standards, and departmental policies / procedures.

Requirements

Current Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant license.
